ConFeReNCe TIMe in ST. GeORgE

Brian and I were lucky enough to be able to go down to St. George over General Conference weekend. We went down to celebrate Nat's birthday, which was on March 29th. We had a great time with everyone, even if the weather wasn't as nice as I wanted. On Friday evening, we went to Dixie College to watch Natalie and Ryan compete in "The Great Race." (See Nat's blog, complete with pics!) It was the coldest, raineyist, day. But they both competed and her team did better than the past 3 years!! It was great because Anne, Jace, Aliyah and Xander made it with a few minutes to spare, to see Nat go down the slide.

On Saturday evening the boys went to Priesthood while the girls and kids decided to go the the park. Nat hung out in the back seat with the kids, while Anne and I were in the front seat.
We were going to a park by Nat's house so Rocky could run and have fun. However, just as we pulled into Nat's driveway, she realized she didn't have her keys with her.
It's a good thing she learned the art of breaking in on her college apartment.

Xander is learning the art from Aunt Nat. However, his method of choice is using a rock in the keyhole.

We did make it to the park, and the kids had fun swinging. . .
and sliding, and running. However, not everyone was having fun.

Rocky's friends were not around, so Rocky was not being good. Natalie had to put Rocky in time out. Not sure who is the most unhappy about it!

We left the park, got Cafe Rio and Nielsen's Custard for dinner, and went back to Anne's to rendezvous with the boys. After ice cream, Aliyah showed everyone her fabulous dance moves.

On Sunday morning, Anne, Jace, Aliyah, and Xander came over the Natalie's and Ryan's to have breakfast and watch conference. It was a great day, until we had to come home. Of course, the weather was wonderful, just like our past 3 days. Thanks to all for making our time in St. George wonderful. See you next weekend for Easter!!

I'm gonna have to get some of those pics. Especially of Aliyah's awesome moves. :)
